Following this consultation, there are a number of further steps that will be taken to progress the proposals:
We will review all of the comments and responses received in response to this consultation, as well as the ongoing engagement with local groups and Councillors. These responses will be used during a design review process, where the masterplan will be refined and finalised.
A Hybrid Planning Application will then be prepared and submitted to Newcastle City Council for the proposals in Spring 2022. Part of the proposals will be applied for in detail, with some areas of the site being applied for in outline, with details to be determined at a later date.

Usually we would host a drop-in session for residents but given current coronavirus restrictions this is not possible, so we have a range of alternative ways for you to share your views.
Leaflets have been delivered to over 1,200 homes and businesses in the local area which provided information, a link to this website, and a Freepost questionnaire to provide feedback on the proposals.
